Breast Cancer Awareness Activities: Faiza described MFT’s October breast cancer awareness programme, including online learning sessions, a staff-focused lunch and learn, and a pink chai and chat event designed to improve awareness and access to breast screening.02:33

Information Governance And Digital Skills: Kath reminded staff that patient records must only be accessed for legitimate work reasons, while Catherine highlighted the use of myMFT for personal results and Kath promoted a digital-skills apprenticeship webinar for line managers.19:39

Freedom To Speak Up: Susan explained her role as a Freedom to Speak Up champion and described how champions provide confidential local support, signposting, and encouragement for staff raising workplace or patient-safety concerns.27:33

Flu Vaccination Campaign: Tom reported early progress in the CSS flu campaign, confirmed clinic and roving-clinic arrangements, and set out the process for teams to request vaccination support at their workplaces.31:12

Cancer Pathway Performance: Alison reviewed cancer pathway standards and explained how histopathology, imaging, ACCP, operating teams, HP, and pharmacy contribute to timely diagnosis and treatment, while Gareth connected the performance measures to patient waiting times.40:40

Staff Survey Participation: Gareth reported that the staff survey had reached just over a 20% response rate and asked colleagues to help achieve the 50% target by completing the survey, supported by dedicated time and organisational incentives.44:13

Operational Recognition And Updates: Gareth recognised the pharmacy medicines team’s HSJ award for safe prescribing, highlighted strong interest in organ and tissue donation, and reported that CSS News attracted 4,400 visitors after improvements including a search function.36:01
