Making IPC Visible: A Week to Remember

Infection Prevention and Control Week, 19th–23rd October

Last week, IPC took centre stage across MFT, from ORC and WTWA to North and Community. The aim was to make Infection Prevention and Control more visible, accessible and a little more interactive, and it was lovely to see so many of you get involved.

Michelle Worsley, Associate Director of Nursing IPC/TV said: “A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the activities, stopped by for a chat, asked questions and shared their knowledge. You helped make the week feel inclusive and engaging across all three sites. Thank you too to everyone who helped organise, promote and support the activities behind the scenes. It really was a team effort.”

We hope you enjoyed the week as much as we did and took away a few useful IPC reminders. The week may be over, but the good habits continue: clean your hands, follow the guidance and ask if you’re unsure.
