The difference our pharmacy technicians make every day
A patient arriving in hospital. Someone waiting to go home. A person trying to understand a new medicine.
At every stage, pharmacy technicians are there.
Across MFT, our pharmacy technicians help make sure patients get the right medicines, safely and on time.
They work alongside pharmacists, doctors, nurses and other colleagues, checking medication histories, supporting discharge and helping patients understand their medicines.
I’ve been a pharmacy technician for more than 20 years and I’m incredibly proud to now lead and represent our technical workforce at MFT.
What makes me proudest is our people. Their knowledge, care and commitment make a real difference to patients every single day.
My ambition is simple: for our pharmacy technicians to feel valued, listened to and supported to develop, while continuing to deliver the very best care for our patients.
