Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a global campaign held every October to raise awareness of breast cancer, promote earlier diagnosis, and support people affected.
Breast Cancer is the most common type of cancer in women in the UK, but anyone can get breast cancer, including men.
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
- Learn about the signs and symptoms and know what to look out for during regular breast checks
- Know your normal – if something doesn’t feel right speak to your GP
- Attend breast screening appointments – the earlier breast cancer is found, the better the chance of beating it!
