Winter is on the way, and our senior leaders are already taking action to help keep themselves, colleagues and patients protected.
This week, Gareth, Sarah, Katherine, Rachel and Tom from across CSS rolled up their sleeves and got their flu vaccinations, setting a great example as this year’s flu campaign gets underway.
With winter expected to bring increased pressure on NHS services, getting vaccinated is one simple way we can all help reduce the impact of seasonal illness across our hospitals and communities.
As well as helping protect you from flu, the vaccination helps safeguard your colleagues, vulnerable patients and loved ones at home.
Fancy following their lead? Colleagues can get their free flu vaccination through local clinics, ward visits, their GP or a participating pharmacy.
