We’re getting ready to paint the Nightingale Centre pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’d love you to come along and be part of the day!
Date: Wednesday 7 October
Time: 10am–3pm
Location: Mezzanine, Nightingale Centre
It’s a chance to take a break, catch up with colleagues, have a cuppa, enjoy some cake and have a bit of fun, while helping us raise awareness of breast health and show our support for everyone affected by breast cancer. The event is for any MFT staff and there will also be a selfie board and raffle on the day.
Can you help with cakes or bakes?
We’d really appreciate any cakes, bakes or pink-themed treats that you’re able to bring along. These will be available to buy on the day, with donations going to Prevent Breast Cancer. Whether you can bake something yourself or prefer to pick something up from the shops, every contribution will help. No pressure to donate – just come along and be part of it!
We’d love it if you can wear something pink on the day too – a pink top, socks, lanyard, hairband… anything goes.
All donations to Prevent Breast Cancer will be doubled through the Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund and we will have a QR code to donate so there is no need to bring cash.
