Our colleagues deserve to feel safe and respected when they come to work. Nationally, incidents of violence, abuse and aggression towards NHS staff remain a significant concern, with physical attacks on staff recently reaching a three-year high.
Over recent weeks, roadshows have taken place across our hospitals, bringing together colleagues from our Security teams, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and other support services to showcase the support available to staff and the action being taken to improve their safety.
Through strong partnership working, we’re continuing to create safer environments across our hospitals while reinforcing a clear message – there’s no excuse for abuse.
