As part of our aim in creating a workplace where everyone has fair opportunity to progress, we are introducing Inclusive Recruitment Panellists – Band 6 and 7 colleagues who will train to sit as full members of interview panels. This will be in the first instance for Band 8a appointments.
The role of the Inclusive Recruitment Panellist is to provide independent oversight, help ensure recruitment decisions are based on evidence and agreed criteria, promote inclusive recruitment practices and support a positive experience for every candidate.
The opportunity to become a panellist is now open to colleagues at Band 6 and Band 7. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who are currently underrepresented within our workforce, including people from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, people with disabilities, neurodivergent people, people of different faiths and beliefs, and those who identify as LGBTQ+.
Becoming a panellist is an opportunity to contribute directly to a more inclusive culture at MFT while also developing your own skills in recruitment, interviewing, and leadership. We would love to see CSS colleagues be part of this programme, and encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest, which you can do here submit an Expression of Interest here. This will enable more information to be shared with you about the role, and support discussions with your line manager. We are expecting to have this programme up and running from October and therefore please submit your Expression of Interest by the end of September.
