Welcoming Richard Templeton to his new role

We’re really pleased to share that Richard Templeton, Consultant in Critical Care, Anaesthesia and ECMO, and Clinical Director for Adult Critical Care Services at MFT, has been appointed as interim Deputy Medical Director for CSS (Professional Matters and Population Health). Richard will continue in his role as Clinical Director alongside this interim appointment.

Richard brings deep clinical expertise and a strong track record of leadership across one of our most complex and high-pressure services. Those who work with him will know his calm, thoughtful approach and his clear focus on patient care and team wellbeing.

In this role, Richard will play an important part in strengthening how we support our medical workforce, while also helping us think more broadly about population health and the impact we have beyond our services.
