Last week, we shared information about Sexual Assault Awareness Month and talked about why it’s important to raise awareness and challenge sexual misconduct. This week, we want to make sure you have the knowledge and confidence to recognise it and respond appropriately.
Understanding Sexual Misconduct in the Workplace is a dedicated e-learning session available to everyone which we strongly encourage you to complete – over 2,000 of you have, helping us to build a safer, more supportive workplace for everyone.
The course supports you to recognise different types of sexual misconduct, understand the impact of trauma, and how it can affect people who have experienced it. It also covers how to have sensitive, trauma-informed conversations, what to do if someone tells you about an incident, how to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries, and how to look after your own wellbeing.
