The entire nursing team have provided excellent patient care for a long term intensive care patient who has been in intensive care for over 100 days despite multiple challenges including a language barrier, acute delirium and medical instability.
I want to take some time to thank everyone who has helped to support his long rehabilitation and weaning process. In particular there have been some key nurses repeatedly showing excellent care day after day going above and beyond for the patient. Rohit, Vivek, Erik and Kamil have all been essential in his recovery without which we would not have achieved this point.
Your care, compassion, excellent nursing skills and brilliant translation has helped to facilitate and support our physiotherapy and occupational therapy input. The entire nursing team have been brilliant with this patient despite the multitude of challenges faced, thank you from the therapy team.
