The Membership Team is holding its annual event for young people (11 – 21 years) on: –
Wednesday, 26th November 2025 at 10.00 am – 3.30 pm
Nowgen Centre, ORC.
The event will be hosted by the Trust Chair (Kathy Cowell OBE, DL), and as in previous years we are planning some fun and interactive activities to promote various NHS involvement opportunities and professions. Stand-holders will be giving practical demonstrations and career tips; the event also provides a safe space for young people to receive general health & well-being information.
We are keen to recruit more young people to become members of our NHS Foundation Trust and give them a voice in the planning and delivery of health services by speaking with our Governors (who will be attending the event).
I would appreciate your help in promoting our event to patients, visitors and the wider public. Please find attached a poster and flyer to display in prominent places which are accessible to patients/visitors. The event invitation is also open to staff members who may wish to bring along their children and/or family friends.
A young people’s membership leaflet is also attached which provides more information about being a young member of the Trust.
