On Friday 25th July 2025, from 1:00pm to 3:30pm, join us in the Post Graduate Lecture Theatre at North Manchester General Hospital for a special sharing event that brings to life the evolution of critical care.
Led by Sharon Whiting, this event will showcase highlights from her doctoral study, which explores the development of intensive care at North Manchester General Hospital. Through a short presentation, a display of historical artefacts, and informal conversations, we’ll reflect on the people, practices, and progress that have shaped ICU care over the years.
All are welcome—staff past and present, study participants, family and friends, and academic collaborators—to come together, reconnect, and share their own stories over tea, coffee, and biscuits.
For those unable to attend, a display will remain available for viewing in the days following the event.
